Job Description

The Commercial Manager is responsible for supporting the growth and profitability of Fugro’s Marine Asset Integrity (MAI) services in Indonesia, with a specific focus on Indonesia market expansion and compliance with local procurement frameworks, including SKK Migas requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Strategic Pursuits, frame agreements and regional growth initiatives
  • Act as a trusted commercial advisor to clients, partners and internal leadership
  • Support mapping and prioritization of strategic bid targets in Indonesia aligned with regional growth objectives and service line strategy
  • Increases our proposal win rate and meets business growth and profitability goals
  • Driving winning pricing strategies for strategically important projects
  • Participating in the proposal approval process (if applicable)
  • Advise on proposal teams on T&Cs, contractual reviews and pricing strategy appropriate for the Indonesian Market
  • Having a certain level of authority on go/no-go decisions and pricing, as delegated by regional and/or Service Line management and APAC commercial Manager
  • Overseeing efforts to develop local or Service Line competitor analysis
  • Works in collaboration with project management and sales/Business Development teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, engineering, law or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, commercial or contracts or related role
  • Working knowledge of commercial contracts and risk management in offshore projects
  • Experience in the Indonesia oil & gas or marine sector is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with IMR, I&M, subsea, or vessel-based services is an advantage
  • Experience supporting a multinational, culturally diverse, or international work environment is an advantage
  • Excellent command of English in both verbal and written communication
