As the Commercial Manager you will ensure that contract value is delivered in line with business case expectations as well as supporting new business commercial modelling requirements.
Job Responsibility:
In-life commercial management – Ensuring customer contracts are in line with expectations, contractual obligations are met and negotiating directly with customers as and when required
Commercial modelling - business case and pricing to ensure profitability of new contracts and any applicable contract variations. Also ensure relevant deal commercial governance is adhered to
Drafting of schedules contained in contracts and variations, in collaboration with legal and account team
Preparation, provision and presentation of regular customer facing reports
Total project forecasting in collaboration with finance colleagues, to ensure project cost control vs business case expectations
Collaboration with billing team to ensure invoices are issued correctly and in line with client expectations
Requirements:
Significant experience in managing in-life Commercial contracts
Experience with managing DEFCONs, CDRLs & JSPs from a contractual perspective
MOD/Defence sector experience
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Strong stakeholder management skills (Customer and internal)
CIPS or WCC accreditation
