Job Description:

As a Test Planner Senior Specialist, you’ll help protect and enhance the experience of our customers, users, and frontline colleagues across Vodafone and Three’s assisted channels. Working from our Test Lab in Stoke, you’ll take the lead on planning, coordinating, and reporting all test activity. Your work helps ensure testing runs smoothly, is well‑organised, and supports high‑quality deployments with fewer defects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be the first point of contact for all testing requests, making sure scope, priority and requirements are clear from the start
  • Take the lead on planning and scheduling the full testing process (UAT, CJT, DVT and daily sanity checks)
  • Keep the test roadmap up to date and balance team capacity to deliver on time
  • Share regular updates on testing progress, outcomes, risks and issues across key programmes and launches
  • Log and manage defects in the right IT systems, ensuring clear documentation and progress

Requirements:

  • Comfortable using defect management systems and understanding how testing governance works
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Confident interpreting testing data, risks and dependencies
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including IT, Release Management and Operations
  • Clear communication skills, able to turn technical updates into simple, business‑friendly language
  • Good understanding of assisted‑channel journeys, operational processes and how changes impact frontline teams
