Job Description

McMullen Façades is a leading specialist façade manufacturer and contractor, providing full design, fabrication and installation of unitised panels for medium and large scale building projects. Due to expansion, we are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team in our manufacturing facility in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This is a new role within our business, working within our manufacturing facility, as part of the wider McMullen Commercial team.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparation of estimates, quotes and VOs for project teams and monthly invoicing reports
  • Overall control of costs and revenue of Newark
  • Control of labour costs including payment certs to labour agencies/sub-contractors
  • Preparation of productivity and KPI reports to assess efficiency and profitability of the business unit
  • Support to stock control and material usage
  • Preparation of supporting documentation for Vesting Certificates to project teams
  • General reporting and support to the operations team and business

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Construction, Quantity Surveying or similar relevant discipline
  • Experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management/Finance within a manufacturing and or construction business
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Highly developed interpersonal, people and client management skills
  • Commercially astute with ability to implement and manage project / manufacturing budgets
