Commercial Manager

Ringway has been appointed to deliver the Kent County Council Highways Term Maintenance Contract – a long-term, performance-driven contract with an initial 14-year term (plus extensions up to 21 years) and an annual value growing from £55m to £80–100m. This is a high-profile, stable and career-defining role for an ambitious commercial professional. As Commercial Manager, you will take overall commercial responsibility for the Kent contract, moving from a hands-on commercial delivery role into a true leadership position. You will set the commercial strategy, embed best practice and play a key role in building long-term client relationships. This role offers genuine progression and support for someone stepping up, with the chance to: Lead and shape the commercial function on a major long-term contract; Develop and mentor a growing commercial team; Work closely with operations, supply chain and the client to drive value and performance; Influence contract strategy, governance and commercial culture.
