Work in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure continued success of the IKEA Concept
Contribute, create and implement store strategies and actions, steering the business in an omnichannel retail environment
Lead and inspire your team to optimize and improve the shopping experience
Accountable for leading the store commercial team, Selling, Com-In and Logistics
Create, deliver and lead the omnichannel commercial action plan and the commercial calendar for the store
Drive sales and optimize profitability in the store using the knowledge of the range, local market, competition and customers
Ensure that customer insights are translated into locally relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions
Responsible for identifying, recruiting and developing talent to secure a diverse, competent, high performing team
Requirements:
Knowledge of business and management principles involving strategic planning, resource allocation and leadership technique
Proven track record of leading and developing co-workers and leaders in a fast-paced retail environment
Experience of leading and developing people with good results
Strong desire to deliver excellent customer service
Knowledge of physical inventory methods and schedules, merchandise recovery standards
Analytical and numerical skills
Strong understanding of what excellent customer service looks like
Experience of setting and implementing action plans, budgets and following up goals
Ability to think, lead and act strategically
Understand profit and loss and how it affects the results through departmental actions
Experience gained in a shopkeeper and CAM role in the IKEA store with proven results
