As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility
Lead regional commercial engagement with NHS Trusts, ICSs, Procurement Hubs, Framework Providers and Independent Hospital Groups
Own and execute pricing, contracting and commercial strategy across regional accounts, ensuring alignment with national frameworks and compliance requirements
Act as the regional expert on NHS structure, procurement routes, framework compliance and commercial governance
Lead comprehensive stakeholder identification, prioritisation and engagement to drive effective project execution and ensure commercial compliance
Negotiate volumes, pricing and commercial terms that maximise value and profitability for Baxter while meeting customer requirements
Conduct regular business and performance reviews with framework and contract providers to identify growth, optimisation and partnership opportunities
Drive regional deployment of the Advanced Surgery Advantage programme, embedding value based procurement principles into customer conversations
Translate clinical, operational and economic value into clear, compelling messages aligned to both local and national NHS priorities
Develop and manage a pipeline of Advanced Surgery Advantage target accounts, including acquisition and expansion plans, in partnership with the RSM and Business Manager
Support and lead value projects, including pathway optimisation, service redesign or outcome based initiatives where appropriate
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in medical device sales, dealing with senior personnel within the NHS theatre environment and procurement/ pharmacy managers
Demonstrated success in acquisition of competitor business through market analysis, stakeholder engagement and cross functional collaboration
Strong commercial acumen including business planning, financial metrics, project management and negotiation
Outstanding communication skills, tenacious, strong spirit and entrepreneurial approach
University degree in science and/or degree in Business Marketing or Clinical Research
