The Commercial Manager for TM Forum Insight supports the success of the Insight portfolio by driving revenue delivery, supporting go‑to‑market execution, and strengthening client and sponsor engagement. Working closely with Research, Marketing, Membership, and Sales teams, this role focuses on commercial execution helping ensure Insight products are well‑positioned, effectively sold, and aligned to member and market needs. The role plays an important part in turning Insight content and activity into clear commercial opportunities, while operating within an established strategic and product framework.
Job Responsibility:
Support revenue delivery across the Insight portfolio, including Insight Reports, Digital Summits, digital advertising, and multimedia campaigns
Work with sales teams to shape commercial proposals, sponsorship packages, and bundled offers
Track performance against commercial targets and support forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
Act as a commercial point of contact for existing Insight products, ensuring clarity on pricing, positioning, and value propositions
Support the refinement of existing products and campaigns based on client feedback and sales performance
Assist with the launch and promotion of new Insight initiatives led by senior stakeholders
Work closely with Research, Editorial, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure Insight outputs are commercially viable and clearly articulated
Help coordinate ways of working across teams to ensure commercial commitments are delivered smoothly
Support internal alignment between Insight activity and TM Forum’s broader membership and mission priorities
Build and manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and clients
Support commercial conversations with existing accounts, including renewals, upsell opportunities, and campaign delivery
Participate in client briefings, proposal discussions, and post‑campaign reviews to ensure value delivery
Support the development of sales collateral, pitch materials, and product one‑pagers for Insight offerings
Work with marketing teams to help promote Insight activity across TM Forum channels, including digital platforms and events
Contribute to consistent messaging and positioning across campaigns and commercial outreach
Requirements:
Experience (10+ years) in a commercial, sales, partnerships, or account management role within B2B media, research, events, or technology
Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting revenue targets and sales activity
Comfortable working cross‑functionally in a matrixed organisation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to internal and external stakeholders
Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple commercial workstreams concurrently
Comfortable using CRM systems, basic commercial reporting, and sales tools
Ability to collaborate with global teams across time zones
Willingness to travel occasionally for events, client meetings, or internal planning sessions
Nice to have:
Exposure to research‑led, content‑driven, or membership‑based organisations
Familiarity with the telecommunications or enterprise technology ecosystem
Experience supporting sponsorship, advertising, or event‑based revenue models
