Are you a newly qualified/part-qualified accountant with a sharp commercial mind and strong hands-on management accounts experience, with an eye for detail, and a natural curiosity for what drives business performance? If so, we want to hear from you. Marston Holdings is on the lookout for a Commercial Management Accountant who’s more than just numbers-savvy — we’re searching for a commercially astute, investigative thinker with the confidence to question the status quo, dig into data, and deliver real insight that drives strategic decision-making. Your Role: Not Just Month-End As part of our Group Finance team, you'll be at the heart of managing and analysing the financial performance of our central functions. This isn’t just about closing the books — it’s about opening up the story behind the numbers. You’ll work closely with Group stakeholders, helping them make smarter decisions by delivering clear, data-driven insights.

Job Responsibility:

  • Producing accurate and insightful month-end accounts and financial results packs
  • Providing robust commercial commentary that brings the numbers to life
  • Analysing Group spend to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve variances and improve processes
  • Supporting ongoing reviews of financial procedures to increase efficiency

Requirements:

  • Part or full CIMA qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of management accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and analytical mindset
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration (a plus, not a must)
