Job Description:

An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded practice advising public and private sector organisations, health and social care providers and charities, on a wide range of complex and high-profile contentious matters.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a busy Commercial Litigation caseload
  • Advising on complex dispute resolution matters
  • Managing cases through all key pre-trial stages, including pre-action engagement and case merit assessment
  • Preparing instructions for Counsel
  • Supporting Case Management Conferences
  • Managing disclosure exercises
  • Assisting with witness statement preparation and expert evidence
  • Supporting trial preparation
  • Advising on alternative dispute resolution strategies
  • Interpreting complex contractual arrangements and identifying risk and mitigation strategies
  • Delivering clear, practical and commercially focused advice

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in commercial dispute resolution law
  • Solid experience of alternative dispute resolution
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to interpret complex contracts and communicate risks clearly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team objectives
  • Inclusive, collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients

Nice to have:

  • Experience advising health, social care and/or charity sector clients
  • Experience in partnership disputes
