Job Responsibility

  • Manage case files throughout all phases of litigation, including document collection, analysis, and production
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
  • Cite-check, draft, and proofread legal documents
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, court filings, and trial preparation
  • Organize and manage exhibits, evidence, and trial notebooks
  • Manage communication with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
  • Maintain and update case management databases and calendaring systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with significant focus on commercial litigation
  • Familiarity with state and federal court rules, e-filing procedures, and litigation best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
