We are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support a busy business law practice. This permanent opportunity is well suited for a detail-oriented legal specialist who can manage sophisticated litigation matters, balance priorities across multiple cases, and work with limited supervision. Job Responsibility
Coordinate day-to-day support for commercial litigation matters from initial case development through resolution
Prepare and submit filings in state and federal courts, including more involved electronic submissions
Draft, organize, and track discovery materials, including requests, responses, and related case documents
Manage the collection, review, and production of documents while maintaining accuracy and deadline compliance
Assemble exhibits and supporting materials for motions, hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings
Provide substantive assistance with motion practice and help attorneys maintain organized case files and litigation calendars
Support hearing and trial preparation by coordinating logistics, materials, and final pre-appearance documentation
Contribute paralegal support to related business matters, including workout, real estate, and corporate or transactional projects when needed
Guide entry-level staff or legal assistants by sharing best practices and helping maintain efficient workflow across matters
Requirements
At least 5 years of paralegal experience, with substantial exposure to litigation matters
Demonstrated background in commercial litigation within a law firm or comparable legal environment
Working knowledge of filing procedures in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts
Strong hands-on experience with electronic filing systems and court submission requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organization and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and support multiple attorneys effectively
Nice to have
Familiarity with legal research or litigation support platforms such as Relativity and Westlaw is preferred
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
