Premier, midsize trial firm in Downtown Portland is seeking a talented and motivated COMMERCIAL LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT. You will play a vital role in supporting attorneys and the team in all phases of high-stakes litigation matters. This firm offers top-of-market salaries with incredible benefits. You'll be joining a well-established team with very low turnover.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
  • Manage and organize electronic and paper files
  • File in State and Federal Courts
  • Prepare exhibits and trial materials
  • Calendar and docket
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in commercial litigation
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes, including court e-filing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
