Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil litigation, particularly in commercial, real estate, and employment law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases, including trial preparation and appellate work, in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft and review legal briefs, motions, and other court documents with precision and clarity
  • Conduct thorough discovery processes, including taking and defending depositions
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies for commercial, real estate, and employment law cases
  • Prepare for and participate in mediations, trials, and appeals, including second-chair trial responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions
  • Manage case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments
  • Work closely with colleagues to prepare for trial and other litigation milestones
  • Represent clients in court and during settlement negotiations
  • Stay updated on legal developments and apply them effectively to ongoing cases

Requirements:

  • Licensed attorney with active membership in the California State Bar
  • Minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on commercial, real estate, or employment law
  • Strong skills in drafting motions, legal briefs, and other court documents
  • Proven ability to manage discovery processes, including depositions and document review
  • Familiarity with trial preparation and second-chair trial experience
  • Effective communication and client relationship management skills
  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities
  • Commitment to working in-office in Santa Rosa, California
