Job Description

Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a highly qualified attorney to join its broad and expanding Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a collegial environment of a national law firm.

Job Responsibility

  • Represent a wide range of local, national and international clients in all types of complex litigation
  • Represent clients in local, state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of litigation experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Active bar license in California
  • Preferably experience in commercial, consumer class actions, financial services, media/entertainment, and/or product liability litigation

  • build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely updates and detail-oriented guidance
  • advocate for clients in court by preparing and arguing motions
  • stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to commercial litigation
  • contribute to the firm’s growth through active participation in business development initiatives.
