Job Description:

A busy company in the West Caldwell area is seeking a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join their growing company. This Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative will manage client relationships, ensure accurate policy documentation, and provide exceptional support to our commercial insurance clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process various policy-related tasks, including endorsements, certificates of insurance, binders, renewals, and policy changes
  • Review client policies and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Respond to client inquiries about coverage, billing, and policy details in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with producers and account managers to assist with account servicing and renewal preparations
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records within agency management systems
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to address and resolve service-related issues
  • Support marketing efforts for policy renewals by gathering necessary underwriting information
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards and regulatory guidelines in all service activities
  • Deliver attentive and courteous service to clients and partners, fostering positive relationships

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in commercial insurance or a similar customer service role
  • Active Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain one within a specified period
  • Strong familiarity with commercial insurance coverages and industry terminology
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and agency management software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
