Job Responsibility

  • Manage a portfolio of general commercial insurance clients, providing expert advice and tailored coverage solutions
  • Handle renewals, policy changes, and claims assistance to ensure ongoing client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate client records and meeting notes to support ongoing service excellence
  • Collaborate with internal teams and offshore support to process policies and documentation efficiently
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service
  • Support retention efforts by providing proactive service and understanding client needs
  • Assist with new business opportunities where applicable, earning commissions on new accounts

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance brokerage experience
  • Level 2 insurance license in BC
  • Strong familiarity with commercial insurance markets and products
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to navigate and manage a general commercial book of business
  • Ability to work in-office five days a week initially, with a potential transition to four days after probation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
