Job Description

Alera Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. We're seeking motivated, relationship-driven professionals who bring both experience and enthusiasm to their work. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a client-facing role and continue building their experience in commercial lines — or break into the insurance space with a strong customer service background. This role supports a small-to-mid market book of business and is part of a team that is evolving its structure to better support growth, training, and long-term development. Job Responsibility

  • Manage and service a commercial lines book of business (small-to-mid market accounts)
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support renewals, policy changes, and ongoing account needs
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Maintain accurate documentation and account records
  • Work closely with producers and service teams to support client needs
  • Stay organized and manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Identify cross-sell and new business opportunities when appropriate
  • Continue developing knowledge of insurance products and client strategies
