We are looking for a skilled Commercial Lending Coordinator to join our team in Apple Valley, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential support to the commercial lending operations of a financial services company. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in loan administration and insurance tracking who are eager to contribute to the success of a dynamic team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform administrative tasks to support commercial lending operations, ensuring smooth workflow and prioritization of team objectives
  • File loan-related documents, including financial statements, into appropriate systems and repositories while maintaining accuracy and organization
  • Monitor post-closing items such as recorded documents and titles, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolving delays as needed
  • Support loan payoff processing by managing satisfactions, lien releases, and loan relationship closures effectively
  • Track expired or past-due insurance certificates, coordinating with insurance agents to update records and maintain compliance
  • Ensure accurate documentation of insurance coverage and update systems to reflect current status
  • Maintain complete and accurate loan relationship files to uphold operational standards
  • Assist with general administrative duties assigned to align with team workload and priorities
  • Escalate unresolved issues promptly to ensure timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance efficiency and maintain high service standards

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in loan administration, origination, or commercial lending support
  • Proficiency in managing commercial loan files and related documentation
  • Knowledge of insurance tracking processes, including liability and property insurance verifications
  • Familiarity with processing loan payoffs and closures, including lien releases
  • Strong organizational and clerical skills to handle document management and file maintenance
  • Ability to use Office applications effectively for administrative tasks
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with insurance agents and team members
