Job Responsibility

  • Own delivery of major commercial programmes including annual price rises and cost reduction initiatives
  • Own defined areas of the Fixed P and L, including performance, forecasting and improvement plans
  • Manage and optimise Opex, identifying risks and driving action to improve outcomes
  • Drive cost of sales improvements across areas such as engineer activity, credits and stock
  • Shape and support Capex investment decisions and business cases to ensure strong returns
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations to improve demand planning and stock management
  • Own commercial reporting across sales, adds, churn, pipeline and base performance, as well as identifying and delivering opportunities to improve revenue and margin through pricing, policy and operational changes
  • Lead cross functional engagement across finance, proposition, operations and supply chain to drive outcomes and present clear insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence decisions

Requirements

  • Strong experience in commercial, finance or strategy roles within telecoms, technology or similar sectors
  • Experience working directly with a P and L or large cost base
  • Strong analytical capability with ability to translate data into clear commercial action
  • Experience using SQL, Excel or similar tools, or a strong ability to learn quickly
  • Strong forecasting and business casing skills
  • Confident working across multiple stakeholders in complex environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
