The successful candidate will join the Biophotonics team in the Photonics Centre with the explicit aim to commercialise a novel technology through a start-up company that we plan to launch in 2028. We anticipate that a successful individual will play a leading role in the company once it is formed. During the 12-month appointment, the Commercial Lead will be responsible for shaping the commercial strategy and execution plan for the technology. This will include structured customer discovery, market and competitive analysis, definition of product–market fit, Customer Value Proposition and development of an investible business plan aligned with Enterprise Ireland commercialisation milestones.
