We are looking for a Commercial Lead, Health & Performance to accelerate our growth through high-impact partnerships and sales. In this role, you’ll build and expand relationships across healthcare, hospitality, sports, and corporate channels—unlocking new revenue streams and driving Eight Sleep’s presence in the real world. Job Responsibility

  • Lead the healthcare vertical: Define and build Eight Sleep’s presence across key health verticals, including providers, medtech medical associations, insurers, and health/wellness startups. Develop a clear GTM strategy and establish this channel from the ground up
  • Expand high-touch affiliation: Identify, negotiate, and activate partnerships with doctors, gyms, and private clubs to drive sales through a trusted network of credible partners
  • Elevate brand presence: Plan and execute high-impact activations, pilots, and partner programs that showcase the value of Eight Sleep. Strengthen credibility with clinicians, performance leaders, and key medical influencers
  • Drive B2B sales: Source, pitch, and close healthcare and corporate customers. Build high-trust relationships with clinical, administrative, and business stakeholders, and manage the full pipeline from prospecting to contract execution
  • Generate market insights: Analyze customer needs, competitive dynamics, and adoption trends across the U.S. health ecosystem. Translate insights into clear recommendations that shape product, positioning, and long-term strategy

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape, including providers, clinicians, payers, wellness programs, and health-tech adoption
  • 5–10 years of experience in healthcare-focused Business Development/Sales with a proven B2B track record
  • able to independently build pipelines, lead complex deals, and establish new partnerships from the ground up
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create structure from zero, self-organize, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, especially with clinical and executive stakeholders
  • High energy, resilience, and comfort with hands-on execution and experimentation

  • Execute Partner Strategy: Lead execution of the ISD global partner strategy within a specific Area or OU by aligning partner engagement to business priorities, embedding the strategy into operating rhythms, and driving adoption across sales and delivery teams. Track progress through defined milestones, governance forums, and data-driven insights to ensure timely course correction and measurable results.
  • Lead Partner Selection: Serve as a trusted advisor during pursuits to recommend the right partner for the right work based on capability, capacity, past performance, risk, and compliance requirements. Ensure partner selection decisions are objective, well documented, and aligned to sourcing policies, including mini-RFP or RFx processes when required.
  • Own Commercials: Lead commercial structuring and negotiations with selected partners prior to deal closure, including scope, pricing, milestones, SLAs, and contract flow-down requirements. Ensure partner agreements protect margin, align to customer commitments, and create the right incentives for delivery quality, compliance, and commercial cloud growth outcomes.
