Job Description

The ideal Commercial Lead will be equally comfortable closing commercial contracts as they will in driving the performance of third parties and managing quality. You will have a background in thermal power generation, large scale renewables or T&D. The portfolio includes the UK’s largest utility batteries (100mw +) and UK’s first 100, 200 and 300mw reciprocating peaking plants. The successful Commercial Lead will inherit a pipeline of challenging projects, allowing the opportunity to deliver some of the latest generation peaking plant and largest battery energy storage assets worldwide. You’ll operate within a lean organisation that offers autonomy, generous remuneration (including equity participation), and an exciting journey.

  • 12 months+ of delivering high value energy projects on time and to budget
  • Knowledge of the UK power market
  • Substantial contract negotiation / delivery experience – Assertive profile
  • Previously led the delivery of high value projects (20mw+ / project values in the tens of millions)
  • Experience supporting front end procurement / closing of commercial agreements
  • Experience seeing these agreements through to fulfilment
  • Experience working in a main contractor (preferred)
