A dynamic law firm in London, known for its commitment to entrepreneurial clients including start-ups and SMEs, is looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer for a 12-month fixed term contract. This firm, celebrated for its ‘people first’ ethos and recent B-Corp status, provides a vibrant and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Offer expert advice on various commercial agreements such as terms of business, technology contracts, supplier contracts, software development contracts, licensing and SaaS contracts, marketing and influencer agreements, and agency, distribution, franchising, and licensing agreements
  • Work directly with entrepreneurs, start-ups, and management teams across industries like technology, hospitality, fitness, and leisure
  • Take on a supervisory role, mentor junior team members, and engage in business development activities

Requirements

  • Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Strong commercial law background from notable city or leading regional firms, with upwards of 8 years’ PQE
  • Ability to work autonomously with a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in commercial law
  • Passion for working with entrepreneurial clients, SMEs, start-ups, and scale-ups
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members
  • Ready to start immediately or at short notice
