They are seeking a Commercial Insurance Sales Support Specialist to play a vital role in supporting the commercial sales team. This position is central to ensuring smooth renewal processes, accurate documentation, and an exceptional client experience — making it a key driver of the agency’s continued growth and service quality.
Job Responsibility
Schedule pre-renewal meetings and facilitate policy reviews with clients and team members
Consult on policy changes, prepare quotes and estimates on new business, and re-market to carriers
Support presentations and assist with binding coverages
Assist the commercial team with client follow-ups and renewal communications
Contact insureds to request information and documentation needed for quotes and renewals
Maintain detailed and accurate notes within the agency management system and CRM
Keep sales and renewal pipelines updated with clear descriptions and activity tracking
Support the team with policy review preparation, applications, proposals, and presentations
Assist with ACORD applications and gathering underwriting information
Coordinate internally with service and commercial team members
Help monitor tasks, follow-ups, and renewal timelines
Support operational and administrative commercial insurance processes
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, organization, and client experience
Assist with scheduling meetings and managing client communications
Help maintain documentation standards and internal process consistency
Requirements
3+ years of experience in an independent commercial insurance agency
Experience supporting Commercial Lines accounts
Organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Communicates professionally and confidently with clients
Proactive and able to work independently in a remote environment
Enthusiastic about improving processes and contributing new ideas
Ability to clearly document account activity and client interactions
