Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing expert guidance on insurance coverage, and ensuring the seamless delivery of tailored risk solutions. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, and is passionate about delivering top-tier client service.

Job Responsibility

  • Guide clients through policy reviews, renewals, and new coverage options, helping them understand their risks and insurance solutions
  • Provide expert advice on policy terms, endorsements, and risk management strategies tailored to client needs
  • Process First Notices of Loss and assist clients in navigating claims procedures while advocating on their behalf
  • Foster strong relationships with carrier underwriters and ensure account placements align with their guidelines
  • Prepare and submit required documentation for policy issuance and binding
  • Analyze exposure data and develop pre-renewal strategies to ensure optimal coverage for clients
  • Market accounts to alternative carriers when necessary and present competitive quote options
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products and providing comprehensive insurance solutions
  • Issue certificates of insurance, binders, and endorsements while maintaining organized and compliant client records
  • Participate in agency-wide initiatives and support special projects as needed

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or a related field
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License in Massachusetts is required
  • Proficiency in using agency management systems such as AMS360 or Applied Epic
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to building client trust
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex insurance scenarios
  • A college degree and relevant certifications are preferred but not required
