We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial & Industrial Manager to join our team in Adelaide. This role is responsible for achieving and exceeding commercial and industrial sales targets through proactive business development, customer relationship management, and strategic territory growth. The successful candidate will lead by example in the market, identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and profitability of the region.
Job Responsibility
Achieve or exceed commercial and industrial sales targets within the South Australia region
Analyse sales forecasts, territory performance, and budgets to ensure products are sold within company guidelines and maximum profitability is achieved
Monitor and report on territory data including KPIs, call patterns, planners, customer maintenance, and growth opportunities
Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new business and expand market presence
Negotiate directly with key target prospects to secure incremental business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with major customers and decision-makers through regular customer visits and ongoing account management
Increase customer numbers and grow the range of business with existing customers
Promote and implement new selling techniques, product initiatives, monthly promotions, and seasonal sales offers
Assist in the development and delivery of customer and reseller training seminars for the Commercial & Industrial division
Coordinate technical training and product presentations for key accounts and new business opportunities
Review and monitor relevant tenders within the state and assist in coordinating tender submissions
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support customer outcomes and business objectives
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry and sales-focused role
Experience within commercial and industrial sectors is highly regarded, particularly within transportation, power generation, agricultural or related industry
Proven experience in business development and account management
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities
Willingness to travel on a regular basis
A valid driver's licence
