Requirements

2-5 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage system installation and service
Proficiency in programming and servicing Honeywell and DMP security platforms
Solid understanding of fire alarm code requirements and industry standards
Ability to troubleshoot IP/network issues and basic knowledge of networking concepts
Strong communication skills to effectively relay technical information to customers and project managers
NICET certification is a plus, or must be willing to obtain one.

Job Responsibility

Install, program, test, and service commercial fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes
Install and troubleshoot intrusion/security systems, including Honeywell and DMP panels
Install and maintain IP and analog CCTV systems, including cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and networks
Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on fire alarm, intrusion, access control, and CCTV systems
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for effective device layout and installation.
