We’re looking for a qualified Accountant to join our Finance team as Commercial Finance Manager, with responsibility for business partnering across the Eastern Europe and Nordics region, bringing strong finance expertise to support commercial performance and decision-making. In this role, you will lead financial planning, performance analysis and insight across a diverse, multi-market region, translating financial data into clear, actionable recommendations. You will play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, performance management and prioritisation, ensuring financial rigour supports the delivery of business objectives. Working closely with Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain stakeholders, as well as regional and UK Finance leadership, you will help drive financial performance, embed strong governance and controls, and continuously improve tools, processes and ways of working across the region.
Job Responsibility
Delivering financial performance management across the UK business, including A&P, customer discounts, overheads, depletions, accruals and provisions
Providing clear, timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis to support business performance and decision-making
Partnering with UK Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to deliver financial and operational objectives
Leading the planning cycles, including Budget, Latest Estimate and 5-Year Plan, ensuring alignment to the Finance calendar and stakeholder expectations
Monitoring and challenging performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve delivery against budget and forecast
Leading monthly business reviews, consolidating risks and opportunities, and providing clear insight to support performance management
Supporting strategic planning by ensuring alignment of commercial and financial objectives across the UK market
Providing ad hoc analysis and financial modelling to support key business initiatives and projects
Driving continuous improvement in finance processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Managing overhead costs, including travel and entertainment, ensuring strong cost control and visibility
Deputising for the Head of Finance (UK) where required and supporting wider Finance priorities
Supporting governance and compliance, ensuring adherence to internal policies, controls and UK regulatory requirements
Requirements
Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
