Job Responsibility
Take ownership of financial planning for Consumer Operations opex, shaping forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans with care and precision
Provide thoughtful month-end analysis, helping leaders understand performance and feel confident in their decisions
Build strong, trusting relationships with operational teams, offering supportive challenge and meaningful financial insight
Uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs, using data to tell a clear and compelling story
Support the development of business cases, staying close to outcomes and sharing learnings to help the business grow
Play an important role in bringing teams and processes together, encouraging continuous improvement and smoother ways of working
Help maintain strong governance, proactively identifying risks and working collaboratively to resolve them
Requirements
Strong understanding of operational finance, ideally within a Consumer Operations or similar environment
Hold (or working towards) a professional finance qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
Experience building positive, trusting partnerships and influencing outcomes with empathy and confidence
Keen eye for detail, taking pride in accuracy and delivering high-quality work
Enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to a supportive, inclusive team environment
Curious and open to new ideas, with a passion for continuous improvement
Comfortable working with data, using tools like Excel and PowerPoint to communicate insights clearly
Approach change with resilience and a proactive mindset, helping others feel supported through transformation
