Commercial Finance Analyst

• Supporting the planning, forecasting and reporting of a large scale retail business with a significant commercial footprint
• Producing accurate and insightful weekly trading and stock flow reporting
• Analysing promotional activity, discounting and commercial income streams
• Supporting month end delivery across sales, margin and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reporting on precious metal exposure and supporting hedge forecasting
• Partnering with Buying, Merchandising, Digital and Marketing teams to drive performance
• Translating complex financial data into clear, commercially relevant recommendations
• Identifying risks and opportunities and challenging where appropriate
• Driving continuous improvement across commercial reporting and analysis

• Newly qualified or part qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent), with the ambition to complete your qualification
• Strong analytical skills with a genuine interest in understanding how the business trades
• Commercially curious, with the confidence to question and challenge
• Clear communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills and attention to detail
• Retail experience is desirable, but not essential
• A proactive team player who thrives in a fast moving environment
