Job Description

A growing, data-driven organisation is seeking to strengthen its commercial finance capability as it continues to scale. Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, the business is focused on enhancing financial insight, improving performance visibility and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation. This role will sit within a high-performing finance team and offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on analytics, business partnering and forward-looking financial planning.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and deliver periodic commercial reporting, providing clear insight and commentary to senior finance leadership and key stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, including revenue, ARR, CAC and other commercial KPIs
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and long-range planning cycles
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing refresh of the business’ strategic plan
  • Provide robust financial analysis and challenge to support decision-making across the business
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve performance visibility and drive commercial outcomes
  • Support investment appraisals and business cases for strategic initiatives
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to support the wider Commercial Finance team

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience within commercial finance, FP&A or management accounting roles
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
  • Experience working with revenue metrics and business performance KPIs
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging senior finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Strong commercial awareness and a forward-thinking mindset
