Are you ready to make an immediate impact through your surveying skills? A leading company in the consultancy sector is hiring a Commercial Fabric Surveyor in Shropshire. This short-term (4-week), high-impact role offers the chance to contribute to a vital condition surveying programme across school estates, ensuring their properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct fabric condition surveys across primary and secondary school estates
  • Assess building elements and identify defects, lifecycle, and remedial works
  • Produce concise, commercially focused reports and costed recommendations
  • Maintain a rhythm of 1 day onsite surveys followed by 1 day of report write-up

Requirements:

  • Proven experience carrying out commercial or education building fabric surveys
  • Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
  • Strong report writing and defect diagnosis skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
  • Enhanced DBS (essential or ability to obtain immediately)
