As the Regional Director of Commercial Excellence for EMEA West, you partner with the Regional VP to implement FME’s Commercial Excellence system and act as a trusted advisor to General Managers. You drive commercial effectiveness through data-driven insights, KPI setting, and incentive design, leading cross-functional initiatives in sales methodology, price and tender excellence, S&OP, training, customer service, and CRM, while ensuring governance, compliance, and operational rigor to maximize regional results.
Job Responsibility
Lead and coordinate regional Commercial Excellence initiatives aligned with global strategy
support VP in defining and communicating regional commercial strategy
Develop and implement marketing and sales projects with Verticals, ensuring alignment, execution, accountability, and results
Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and validate business strategies including product mix, pricing, channels, and business models
Support regional budgets, forecasts, and mid-term business plans in line with global strategy
Set KPIs, monitor performance, identify gaps, deploy action plans, and translate strategic objectives into operational plans
Define and implement commercial training plans
support promotions, demand generation, and Omni-Channel sales models
Drive pricing and tender excellence, manage CRM and promotional tools, and ensure efficient customer service and harmonized processes
Coordinate regional S&Op processes, oversee market insight activities, and steer Commercial Excellence through metrics
Identify and engage stakeholders up to C-suite, develop engagement plans, and lead organizational change management strategies
Identify critical capabilities, assess gaps, and prioritize development initiatives to meet business needs
Ensure compliance with all relevant FME policies, corporate values, and the Compliance Framework
Requirements
Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or related field
15+ years in Med Tech or Pharma commercial support, business intelligence, or marketing
Advanced stakeholder management, analyzing expectations and developing engagement strategies
Proficient in English, other languages are an asset
Skilled in strategic planning and healthcare industry, with strong knowledge of regional policies, procedures, and regulations, and experienced in presenting to top management, boards, and public groups
Builds effective, collaborative teams and applies a strategic mindset with business insight and financial acumen to make timely, high-quality decisions, manage ambiguity, prioritize work, navigate complexity, and deliver customer-focused solutions
