Commercial Electrician

• Install and connect power supply wiring, conduit, lighting systems, equipment, and electrical devices
• Troubleshoot and support production controls and automation systems
• Diagnose and repair transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and lighting systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems including: 277/480V, 3-Phase, 4-Wire Systems
• 120/208V, 3-Phase, 4-Wire Systems
• 120/240V Single-Phase Systems
• Replace and repair electrical and electronic components including relays, contactors, control devices, and printed circuit boards
• Perform maintenance and repairs on building lighting, parking lot lighting, emergency lighting, exit signs, outlets, photo eyes, and lighting control systems
• Plan and install wiring, conduit, and electrical equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment operating at 480 volts and below
• Complete required maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, inventory, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
• Support additional facility maintenance activities as assigned

• Successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 5 years of related electrical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, facilities, or commercial environment
• Valid driver's license required
