Job Description

This position will function as the Documentation Specialist for the Quality Programs, reporting to the Site Quality Manager. The Commercial Quality Programs include ISO-9001, API, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and ASME Section I and VIII. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and review of document packages supporting ASME products.

Job Responsibility

  • Review internal production orders and ensure all required documentation is present and correct
  • Verification of product markings and build sheets
  • Prepare customer documentation based upon customer purchase order, applicable regulatory standards, and internal requirements
  • Coordinate with the Authorized Inspector on the review and approval of documentation packages and ASME Code data reports
  • Interface with regulators, external auditors, customers, and company stakeholders
  • Support site initiatives to improve quality and reduce rework
  • Assist in Quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain records of completed documentation per site quality program

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience compiling Quality documentation packages for Oil & Gas Industry
  • Experience with ISO standards required
  • Experience with ASME Section I or VIII preferred
  • Experience with API standards preferred
  • Experience with SAP ERP system
  • Comfortable with a manufacturing environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in all MS products: Excel, Word etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
