You will act as the commercial authority for the delivery teams, guiding internal managers on complex contract formations. You will be the strategic mind behind high-stakes negotiations, tightening standard agreements to mitigate risk, and ensuring the organisation's reputation, brand, and financial value are rigorously protected.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the lead negotiator and SME for complex, high-value contract negotiations and dispute resolutions
Provide strategic guidance and mentoring to Account Managers during challenging negotiations with Tier-1 land developers
Ensure maximum financial value is derived from multi-billion-dollar development agreements
Assess and ensure the cost effectiveness of third-party delivery options to ensure infrastructure delivery
Develop, implement, and monitor robust commercial assurance frameworks across the capital delivery program
Requirements:
Extensive experience in commercial and contract management within major infrastructure delivery, particularly experience in dealing with land developers
A proven track record of taking the lead on complex, high-value commercial disputes and negotiations
Formal qualifications in a relevant commercial discipline
Nice to have:
Familiarity with operating in a regulated environment is highly regarded
Candidates with backgrounds in engineering consultancies, energy, utilities, or local councils are strongly encouraged to apply
