Our Commercial Director (Director of Sales and Marketing) is responsible to direct and oversee all sales and marketing activities in collaboration with commercial leaders including, sales, catering, conference services, public relations, marketing and revenue management for the hotel and ensure that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied.

Recommend salary adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals
Ensure proper training

Assume responsibility for the Sales and Marketing Department in the absence of the Directors
Implement activities that positively impact hotel RevPAR performance
Monitor competitive hotels
Develop, coordinate, and implement programs to increase profitable sales
Monitor and identify current and future business trends
Manage the hotel's Yield Management program
Ensure accuracy of definite bookings plus contracted group and corporate accounts
Review and monitor competitive hotels to formulate recommendations
Identify sources of business
Analyze the hotel's capabilities
Develop and implement the Annual Marketing Plan
Keep abreast of market trends
Develop marketing programs consistent with Four Seasons style and image
Initiate and supervise the installation of all sales and marketing office procedures
Prepare, monitor and control the annual advertising and business promotion (A&BP) budget
Solicit and service selected accounts
Participate in designated trade, service and community association and clubs
Represent Four Seasons Hotel on sales calls
Provide "one up" sales assistance for all key accounts
Serve as hotel’s key contact with organizations
Set and monitor all quotas for sales activities and production
Develop and approve travel schedules and budgets
Implement and monitor an effective prospecting program
Review the performance of each salesperson
Effectively administrate the company's sales incentive plan
Develop and maintain a succession plan
Coordinate sales activities with WSOs
Determine staffing requirements, sales deployment, and areas of responsibility
Maintain a cooperative working relationship with other departments
Participate in meetings with Planning Committee and Department Heads
Communicate with Corporate Marketing, Worldwide Sales Offices and other Four Seasons Hotels
Prepare reports
Enhance marketing effectiveness through improvements in automation
Utilize computerized operational systems
Ensure accurate tracking of business segments/markets
Implement systems to ensure sales and marketing programs achieve projected results
Understand, utilize and supervise the installation of automated sales and reservations systems
Develop special promotional programs
Direct and manage the hotel’s utilization of emerging social media tools
Participate in the development of collateral
Ensure all advertising conveys the desired image and message
Monitor all expenditures
Maintain open communication with advertising agency/media
Work with the Director of Public Relations
Provide guidance to ensure favorable attitudes toward the hotel
Report to the General Manager and Home Office any significant activity
Develop the advertising and business promotion budget
Administer department activities within the approved budget
Involve directly in forecasting
Analyze financial/business performance vs forecasts/budget
Understand, maximize use of, and properly control A&BP budget
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
A minimum of 5 years of experience in same position
Excellent verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English Languages
Attention to details

Build connections & establish strong business rapport with market key players and partners
Be the hotel's main commercial focal point & representative
