Job Description

The Commercial Director is responsible for driving the hotel’s overall commercial performance by leading sales, marketing, revenue management, and related functions. The role ensures that strategic commercial initiatives maximize revenue across all business units—Rooms, F&B, Spa, and other outlets—while maintaining strong brand identity. The Commercial Director provides strategic leadership, develops revenue‑generating strategies, manages budgets, and oversees the execution of commercial plans to support the hotel’s long‑term growth and market positioning.

  • Drive hotel’s overall commercial performance by leading sales, marketing, revenue management and related functions
  • Ensure strategic commercial initiatives maximize revenue across all business units—Rooms, F&B, Spa, and other outlets

  • Develop revenue-generating strategies

  • Provide direction on pricing, Revenue Management, MarCom, Rooms and Catering sales strategy and tactics

  • Include GM, DOF, DOS, DOC/CS and Reservations Manager in weekly Revenue meetings

Requirements

  • Education: (4) year college/university degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience: Previous experience as a DOS or Sales Manager in a Hotel or Resort
  • Effective leadership capabilities
