Job Description:

The Commercial Director / Director of Strategic Partnerships will lead Omio’s efforts to drive cross-BU strategic partnerships with large players in travel and other industries, bringing the best of Omio in material deals. You will own the full lifecycle of Strategic partnership development — from identifying opportunities and structuring commercial terms to ensuring long-term mutual value through collaboration and innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead Strategic partnerships: Identify, seek, and execute large partnerships across Business Units and bring them to life. Work with teams across the company post deal to ensure the value is materialised
  • Develop new relationships: Identify, approach, and negotiate with high-value transport providers to bring new inventory to Omio’s platform
  • Own commercial negotiations: Drive deal structuring, commercial terms, and partnership models that balance partner success and Omio’s growth goals
  • Strengthen strategic alliances: Manage senior relationships with industry players, ensuring alignment on growth, performance, and priorities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding, technical integration, and go-to-market execution
  • Market intelligence: Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform Omio’s strategic direction
  • Performance optimisation: Set partnership KPIs, monitor partner performance, and identify opportunities for incremental growth and innovation

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships ideally within travel, mobility, or marketplace platforms
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling complex, multi-market partnerships across diverse sectors, including Entertainment, Fintech, Hotels, Insurance, and AI
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in high-value negotiations and contract management
  • Strategic thinker who can translate market insight into actionable growth opportunities
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills at C-suite and operational levels
  • Data-driven mindset and familiarity with performance metrics, P&L impact, and ROI analysis
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial approach — comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Fluency in English (other European languages are a plus)
