This role will provide legal support to medical device and digital health companies on sales-side commercial transactions, with a focus on technology-driven offerings, including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). The position will involve negotiating and structuring customer-facing agreements while advising on regulatory, privacy, and compliance considerations relevant to the healthcare and medtech space.
Job Responsibility:
Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of sales-side commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, data use, and enterprise customer contracts
Advise on transactions involving medical devices and digital health solutions, including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
Partner with clients on deal strategy, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives
Provide practical guidance on healthcare regulatory and compliance considerations, including Anti-Kickback Statute implications and related risk areas
Requirements:
Experience supporting medical device and/or digital health companies (in-house or external counsel)
Strong background in commercial contracting and technology transactions, particularly on the sales side
Working knowledge of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and/or regulated digital health products
Active license as an attorney and good standing in a U.S. state
