Job Description:

This is a fantastic chance to join a highly regarded property team in the North West, handling a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Handling all aspects of commercial property transactions, from initial instruction through to completion
Acting for business owners, developers, landlords, tenants, and investors on acquisitions, disposals, leases, refinancing, and portfolio management
Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, option agreements, and security documents
Conducting due diligence, including reviewing titles, leases, searches, and lender requirements
Managing complex and high-value transactions, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation
Advising clients on property investment, development, and asset management strategies
Liaising with clients, lenders, surveyors, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions
Supporting junior members of the team, offering mentorship and supervision where needed
Identifying business development opportunities, strengthening client relationships and referral networks
Keeping up to date with property law developments, regulatory requirements, and market trends

Requirements:

5+ years’ PQE in commercial property law, with a proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Extensive experience handling sales, purchases, leases, refinancing, and development projects
Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law, title issues, and lease negotiations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships
A highly organized and proactive approach, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Commercial awareness and problem solving abilities, ensuring practical and strategic advice for clients
Experience with case management systems and an ability to work efficiently with modern legal technology
A desire to contribute to business development and firm growth, with a client-focused approach
