Job Description:

This is a fantastic chance to join a highly regarded property team in the North West, handling a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handling all aspects of commercial property transactions, from initial instruction through to completion
  • Acting for business owners, developers, landlords, tenants, and investors on acquisitions, disposals, leases, refinancing, and portfolio management
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, option agreements, and security documents
  • Conducting due diligence, including reviewing titles, leases, searches, and lender requirements
  • Managing complex and high-value transactions, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation
  • Advising clients on property investment, development, and asset management strategies
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, surveyors, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Supporting junior members of the team, offering mentorship and supervision where needed
  • Identifying business development opportunities, strengthening client relationships and referral networks
  • Keeping up to date with property law developments, regulatory requirements, and market trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property law, with a proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Extensive experience handling sales, purchases, leases, refinancing, and development projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law, title issues, and lease negotiations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • A highly organized and proactive approach, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness and problem solving abilities, ensuring practical and strategic advice for clients
  • Experience with case management systems and an ability to work efficiently with modern legal technology
  • A desire to contribute to business development and firm growth, with a client-focused approach
