Job Description

As our Commercial Controller, you’re a key driver of UGG’s financial and commercial performance. You own the full P&L and collaborate closely with Financial Control, Business Control, and BI to turn data into sharp, actionable insights. But you won’t just report the numbers; you’ll shape the story behind them. You’ll influence pricing, revenue strategy, membership behaviour, commercial business cases, and the next moves that help UGG accelerate. You bring leadership, ownership, and confidence to a role that’s central to our growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Full P&L ownership
  • Own the complete P&L, with focus on revenue lines deliver accurate, decision‑ready reporting in close collaboration with Financial Control
  • Lead monthly reporting cycles and provide clear, high‑quality insights
  • Build forecasting and budgeting models with strong focus on revenue and margin
  • Commercial focus & revenue growth
  • Analyse key revenue drivers: membership growth, retention, acquisition, pricing impact
  • Identify and quantify opportunities to grow the top‑line
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Digital to elevate commercial performance
  • Build business cases and assess financial impact of new initiatives
  • Pricing Strategy & proposals
  • Develop and model pricing proposals and revenue scenarios
  • Analyse elasticity and member behaviour to strengthen pricing decisions
  • Collaborate with BI to improve pricing dashboards and commercial insights
  • Track results after rollout and drive optimisation
  • Collaboration with Finance, BC & BI
  • Work seamlessly with Financial Control on reporting quality and closing processes
  • Align KPIs, methodologies, and insights with Business Control colleagues
  • Guide and support less experienced Controllers
  • Partner with BI to enhance data quality, dashboards, and automation
  • Ensure integrated financial + commercial visibility across all teams
  • Process improvement & strategic support
  • Continuously improve reporting, planning, and forecasting processes
  • Support strategic projects with strong financial modelling
  • Contribute to building a scalable Business Control foundation for UGG’s growth

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Control, Commercial Control, or a similar analytical finance role
  • Experience with membership or subscription‑based business models is more than a plus
  • A proven track record of owning a full P&L and driving financial and commercial outcomes
  • Affinity with fitness, sports, commercial performance, and pricing
  • Skilled in collaborating with Financial Control, Business Control, and BI
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills
  • able to translate complexity into crystal‑clear insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience guiding or coaching team members
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools
  • A proactive, commercially driven mindset with the confidence to challenge and advise
