We are currently seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to work with various Axiom clients across all industries. Axiom is the global leader in high-calibre, on-demand legal talent. Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare, assess, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, including identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal exposure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve contract-related disputes in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • 2 to 10 years PQE in-house legal experience (directly, or as a secondee)
  • Good academic credentials and post-qualification experience
  • Strong commercial understanding, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in the UK and be eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have:

Proficiency in additional European languages (at a business working level)
