Job Responsibility

  • Advising colleagues across the business, adopting a commercial and pragmatic approach in relation to commercial contract considerations to include reviewing, advising and where appropriate supporting the negotiation of and amendments to commercial contracts relating to: Client terms
  • Framework Agreements

  • Client bids/RfPs
  • Panel arrangements
  • Goods and services procured on behalf of the firm
  • Assisting with ongoing contract management to ensure that all contractual obligations for key clients and suppliers are incorporated into our wider processes to ensure compliance with those terms
  • Reviewing requests for amendments and preparing risk summaries to contracts and draft contracts received from suppliers, to assist with the review, assessment and acceptance of such terms
  • Providing in-house legal input to ad-hoc firm projects as well as assisting with reviewing and updating the firm's standard terms of business, client care letters, templates, internal policies and processes
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments and considering if amendments to the firm's Terms of Business are necessary
  • Assisting in developing the procurement framework for the firm
  • Providing training to the Governance and Risk Analysts to enable them to assist with contract reviews
  • Opportunities for involvement in wider Governance and Risk projects
