Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to support the commercial contracting of our financial services client on a long-term contract basis. You will be involved with reviewing and negotiating agreements for business leaders within the organization. This remote position offers flexibility, with meaningful opportunities for collaboration.

Job Responsibility

  • Amend existing vendor agreements to align with current contractual standards
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure legal solutions align with organizational goals
  • Engage directly with supplier representatives to negotiate and revise contractual provisions
  • Work as part of the legal team to address inquiries from business unit leaders

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of legal experience with a focus on commercial contracting
  • Exceptional legal writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Active legal license in good standing within any U.S. jurisdiction
  • Strong commitment to completing the duration of the project

  • Advise asset management teams on nuanced lease interpretations and enforcement strategies, while coordinating with property managers, brokers, third-party vendors, lenders, title companies, and surveyors
  • Support legal aspects of condemnation, easements, risk management, and compliance matters impacting diverse assets
  • Proactively identify and address legal risks, providing clear, business-aligned guidance across multiple teams
  • Maintain and improve internal legal files, templates, and contract databases, and participate in due diligence for hold-sell decisions
