Job Description

Kalos Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager with a strong background in construction operations and field leadership. This is a hands-on, field-focused role for a leader who understands the realities of the jobsite and works closely with field teams to keep projects moving efficiently from planning through completion. Our Project Managers thrive on accountability, ownership, and results. In this role, you’ll spend significant time on job sites coordinating with subcontractors, guiding crews, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to Kalos standards. Job Responsibility

  • Understand construction methods and sequencing, ensuring work is performed in the right order and projects stay on schedule
  • Walk jobsites regularly and identifies risks early, preventing issues before they become costly delays
  • Hold subcontractors accountable to Kalos standards for quality, safety, and professionalism
  • Think proactively about inspections, materials, manpower, and coordination with other trades
  • Use project management systems like ClickUp to support communication and organization, while relying on strong judgment and field experience to lead projects effectively
  • Manage all phases of projects: bid/award, pre-construction, construction, and closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors and crews to keep projects on schedule
  • Conduct site inspections, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Maintain detailed project documentation (progress reports, contracts, change orders, etc.)
  • Use ClickUp to track progress, manage tasks, and drive accountability
  • Collaborate with Estimators and construction teams on design-build projects
  • Support recruitment and onboarding to set new hires up for success
  • Set the tone for ownership, accountability, and results-driven performance

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction projects
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher in Construction Management/Business preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, NEC codes (for electrical components), building codes, and safety standards
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, specifications, takeoffs, and submittals
  • Proven ability to coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and project schedules
  • Proficiency in project management tools (must be comfortable with ClickUp)
  • Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety, OSHA compliance, and enforcing safety standards across all project phases
  • Hands-on approach, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking tough questions to drive results
  • Clean background check, drug-free, and a clean or near-clean driving record
  • Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs. and working on ladders or scaffolding

Nice to have

PMP or similar certifications are a plus
