Job Responsibility

  • Quantity takeoffs using estimating software
  • Reading and understanding blueprints and specifications
  • Develop project specific estimates
  • Perform thorough document reviews (drawings, specifications, schedule, logistics and products)
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Reviewing Vendor (Subcontractor & Supplier) proposals for completeness and competitiveness
  • Understanding overall project and trade-specific scope of work through the thorough review of project documents
  • Solicit proposals from Vendors
  • Working with Estimating and pre-construction staff in completing other tasks as directed

Requirements

  • Must live in the Cincinnati area and have drywall experience
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must pass E-Verify
  • 2 years' experience in construction
  • High School Diploma / GED / Equivalent
