The Role This is a commercially focused analyst role supporting the Commercial Team, CFO, and Facility General Managers. You will provide analysis and insight across contract performance and hospital pricing, prepare RFPs and play a key part in how the business manages and grows its commercial operations. You will also be interacting directly with key stakeholders including clinicians and funders and ensuring that the agreed contract terms are applied correctly. The role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, offering genuine breadth and senior stakeholder exposure and requiring sound commercial judgement. Key Responsibilities Operationalisation of the contracts held by Evolution, ensuring accuracy and maximising outcomes Analyse and report on commercial contract performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement Monitor procedure performance against contracted volumes and flag variances Evaluate hospital pricing for non-contract procedures and support annual price review processes Prepare and coordinate RFPs to secure new business opportunities Respond to pricing requests accurately and within agreed timeframes Maintain and update billing reference material and implement best practice Assist with the annual contract and pricing process including specialist fee reviews and negotiation Monitor surgeon theatre utilisation and procedure times to identify commercial performance opportunities Generate and present detailed commercial operations reports Use data analysis tools to provide actionable insights Key Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field CA (or equivalent) is preferred Minimum three years’ experience in a commercial or business analyst role Strong analytical capability with proficiency in excel, data analysis tools and reporting software, including building, reconciling and stress-testing models Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and navigate robust commercial decisions High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations is an advantage Why Apply Evolution Healthcare is one of New Zealand’s largest private healthcare providers, operating a national network of hospitals and specialist facilities.
