Job Description:

As our Commercial Sales Manager, you'll be the go-to person for commercial plumbing and heating solutions, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. This role enables our City Plumbing branches to provide a diverse offering to customers, ensuring best in class knowledge and service to engage current and new customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Regular call out activity to build sales volumes through existing and new business
  • Utilise proposition and knowledge to build confidence in product offering
  • Maximise sales potential by seeking opportunities for linked sales or to upsell
  • Support branch colleagues to have a better understanding of Commercial offering
  • Ensure full Non-Residential Core range is available for purchase at all times
  • Effectively manage stock required for each project to ensure OTIF fulfilment
  • Build customer relationships through promotion of local events and supporting key customer meetings
  • Own Non-Residential & Commercial business plans to drive and achieve targets for your branch

Requirements:

  • Commercial (Non-Residential) Product Knowledge and able to give technical understanding to customers
  • Previous experience working in a merchanting environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to produce and interpret basic financial/statistical information
  • Commercial acumen – ability to demonstrate understanding of how to impact the bottom line
